Since 1908

1908
— The Year It All Started

The Beginning

When East Coast Egg Farmers started delivering eggs in 1908, the world was a very different place. Theodore Roosevelt was president. The Model T had just rolled off the assembly line. Sliced bread wouldn’t be invented for another 20 years.

And yet — here we were, loading crates of eggs onto horse-drawn carts in North Bergen, NJ, bound for the diners, bakeries, and grocers of the tri-state.

Three Generations, One Mission

We’re a family business. Always have been. The company has been passed down through three generations, and every owner has stayed focused on the same mission: get the freshest eggs to the businesses that feed this region, every single day, without exception.

We’ve never been the biggest distributor. We’ve never wanted to be. What we wanted was to be the most reliable — the supplier whose phone you pick up at 6am because you know it’ll get answered, the truck that shows up when you need it most.

A Century of Showing Up

In 117 years, we’ve delivered through:

Major supply chain disruptions (and we kept our customers stocked through all of them)

Economic downturns that shuttered competitors

Every major bird flu outbreak in recent history

The rise of refrigerated trucking (we were early adopters)

The cage-free revolution (we helped grocers across NJ and NY make the transition)

COVID-19 (we stayed on the road when others couldn’t)

Zero USDA Violations. Zero Salmonella Cases.

Not because we got lucky. Because we never cut corners.

Where We Are Today

Today we operate from our facility at 2500 83rd St in North Bergen, NJ. A fleet of 30+ refrigerated trucks runs routes across the entire tri-state, six days a week. We serve over 700 active accounts — from the corner deli in Jersey City to grocery chains like ShopRite, Eataly, and Fairway.

We sell conventional, cage-free, organic, and specialty eggs. We carry premium butter, cooking oils, and King Arthur bakery flours. We answer the phone when you call. We pick up last-minute orders. We show up every morning.

The names in the phone book have changed. The trucks have gotten bigger. The cage-free section has gotten larger. But the core of what we do hasn’t changed since 1908.

Same family. Same standards. Same handshake deal.
